A healthy creative practice is the key to growth as an artist, especially when you're trying to grow your own style. If your goal is an intuitive, looser personal style, it's important to have a set of activities to help you encourage the highly imaginative part of yourself.
When I come into the studio to paint, I always warm up for at least 10 -15 minutes with playful exercises to help me kickstart my practice, draw me into the creative process and engage more fully with what's happening on the paper. Join me as we explore my favorite warm up techniques.
